Harper is located in south central Kansas, about 25 miles north of the Oklahoma border and 45 miles southwest of Wichita, Kansas at the intersection of Highways 160 and State Rd 14.  Our population is approximately 1250.

Harper is the home of many thriving businesses, including eight manufacturers, six restaurants, two banks,
grocery and hardware stores, and many service related businesses.

Although Harper continues to grow, we still find a way to maintain that "small town" atmosphere. 

Harper hosts the annual Harper County Fair in August and hosts the Red Fish Festival in October, bringing folks from surrounding areas to enjoy the festivities. 

Whether it be coming together for the County Fair, Fall Festival, or to just sit back, relax and watch the summer baseball and softball games at the Sports Complex, folks in Harper will find a way to gather and enjoy each other's company.
